Texas Chainsaw Massacre Franchise to Continue

Twisted PIctures, the production company behind the Saw movies, is set to take over the rebooted Texas Chainsaw Massacre series.  From a script by The Grudge’s Stephen Susco, the next Leatherface movie will be set in contemporary times and may be released in…you guessed it…3D.

Fans will recall that New Line Cinema already produced a remake in 2003 and a prequel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, in 2006.

It is unclear whether this new movie will fit into the same series or will be yet another remake of the 1974 original.
