Renowned horror author Stephen King is set to co-write on a five-issue comic book series called American Vampire.  Each issue will contain two 16-page stories, with Scott Snyder telling the story of Pearl, a vampire looking for fame during the jazz era.  The other story will be by King about a vampire named Skinner Sweet, who has no fear of the sun.

Artist Raquel Albequerque will do the interior art.  The series will launch in March and will be published by Vertigo Comics.
