Fox and Dreamworks TV are creating a new werewolf television saga, which will be written by Joshua Miller and M.A. Fortin.  Howl is said to be a family epic about a small Alaskan town where different werewolf families are at war with each other.

“Alaska is a place where people disappear and now you know why,” Miller said.

This is not the first time Fox has run a series based on the hairy howlers.  In 1987, Fox aired Werewolf, one of the channel’s first series.
