Earlier this week, news broke out that Summit Entertainment (Twilight) was working on a new spin on Dracula with Vlad.  The project’s screenwriter, Charlie Hunnam, clarified in a recent interview that the film would focus on the rise of young Vlad Dracula, rather than on connecting him to the vampire legends.

Despite his acting work on Sons of Anarchy, Hunnam cast doubts that he’d take on the starring role, insisting that it would likely go to someone like Colin Farrell or Christian Bale.
